Hitch Slider

If you’ve ever scraped your hitch on a steep driveway or rocky trail, you know the problem. The Hitch Slider is a simple solution: a hitch-mounted skid plate that protects your receiver from ground strikes while doubling as a 13,000 lb recovery point when you need to get unstuck.

The wrap around design of the Hitch Slider features a Delrin skid pad that takes the beating instead of expensive hitch components. When it wears out, the skid pad can be replaced with a Delrin or Aluminum Replacement Skid Pad. The 1-inch thick recovery point works with standard ¾” bow or soft shackles, giving you a rear recovery option whether or not you have a full rear bumper system. 

Add a skid pad to have a spare on hand, or upgrade to aluminum for added durability. The standard Delrin pad slides smoothly over obstacles due to its self-lubricating properties, which reduce friction and drag. For more aggressive use and maximum durability, upgrade to the Aluminum Skid Pad that’s also 0.2” thinner than the Delrin.
